The Tonkunstler Orchestra is the symphony orchestra of Austria's biggest Province Lower Austria and currently has 102 permanent positions (including 7 Academy positions). Scholarship program (trombone) in the the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra

In order to offer orchestral experience for highly talented young musicians the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra (CySO) announces a scholarship program.
Applications are invited for the following instruments:

The scholarship program is open to European citizens. Any advanced university or music high school students and musicians who graduated in the past two years can apply.

Applicants for 2 violin, 3 viola, 2 cello, 1 clarinet, 1 bassoon and 1 trombone or bass trombone position(s) should be able to join the Orchestra from September, 2010. Applicants should have basic proficiency in English or Japanese.
The above requirements may be waived or altered, on the basis of separate consultations, in case of students or members of other orchestras who have time remaining in their contracts.

Both pieces are to be played with musicians from the ensemble.
The first round is to be played behind a screen. A piano accompanist will be provided. After the second round, the participants chosen for the final round will be invited to a 10 to 15-minutes interview. The ensemble does not pay for travel
expenses, accommodation, catering etc.
Ensemble MidtVest is a classical chamber music ensemble consisting of a string quartet, a wind quintet and a pianist, based in Herning in Western Denmark. It is one of five region-based ensembles, supported mainly by the public authorities. In September 2009 the ensemble moved its base to Heart (Herning Museum of Contemporary Art) which houses the ensemble’s own chamber music concert hall. The ensemble’s repertoire spans from renaissance and baroque to contemporary music.
