...And run painted wooden horses,
Funny: on wooden legs.
And dogs jumping through hoops.
Elephant raises his trunk and blows.
As a reward he gets an Apple.
He especially likes
One girl in the hall.
He nods for her
And goes backstage.
The fat clown lips always
Apart in a painted smile
And it's funny raised a painted eyebrow.
He bows, bows, bows.
And monotonous smiles.
And suddenly, amid the approving laughter
Happy hall
The clown something very loudly shouts...
