But it is precisely the right and conscious choice of wallpaper that can affect the mood, direct the thought in the right direction, and also contribute to the desire to bring order to the desktop.
Surprisingly, the first desktop wallpapers appeared in 1975. At that time, the experimental office system Officetalk, under the supervision of the Xerox PARC research center, was actively working. It was then that for the Alto series of computers a decision was made, which subsequently led to the creation of customary wallpaper for each user, namely, the decision to select a background under the superimposed window with a saturated gray color. Revolutionary at the time, the solution immediately appreciated the company Apple, which subsequently used it for computers Macintosh and Lisa. The development of the idea grew into a geometric progression, the pictures for the desktop quickly evolved and modernized, with each new idea gaining more and more advantages.
Today, each user can choose individual free city photos, focusing solely on his taste, upbeat or melancholic mood and even the time of year. The obvious charm of the wallpaper is not only that you can quickly pick up the most pleasant looking and associative series option, but also that you can change them at your first request - at least every day, at least every hour. Of course, you can simply enter the desired query into the browser's search line and head off into the chaotic world of diverse pictures of any extension, quality and subject matter. But it is much more convenient and practical to choose a certain site where wallpapers with high expansion, tangible quality, and also competent distribution of images by semantic categories are already placed. Nature dreamy and romantic often choose a backdrop of scenic landscapes, nature, bright flowers or charming pets. Men prefer motoring, motorcycles, aviation, sports and, of course, beautiful girls. Creative young people often push off from the conventional framework, strive for a special approach in all respects, so usually choose wallpaper in the categories of abstraction, mood, textures, style and music.
